HealthCare Quote Now LLC ("we," "us," "our," or "Company") operates healthcarequotenow.com, a service that connects consumers seeking insurance information with licensed insurance agents and insurance companies ("Marketing Partners"). We are a lead generation platform. We are not an insurance company or a government agency, and we are not affiliated with the federal Medicare program or Healthcare.gov.
This policy explains how we handle information collected through this website and through follow-up communications related to your request (such as calls and text messages). This website is intended for a U.S. audience; any information you provide will be transferred to and processed on servers located in the United States.
We are not a health care provider or a health plan. Information you submit through this website is generally not protected health information governed by HIPAA.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide: name, phone number, email address, ZIP code, household size, estimated income range, coverage interests, and other details you submit through our quote forms or when you call us. We deliberately do not request Social Security numbers, full dates of birth, diagnoses, medications, or payment card details through our quote forms.
Information collected automatically: IP address, device and browser type, pages visited, referring URLs, and interactions with our site, collected via cookies and similar technologies, including analytics and advertising tags.
Consent records: when you submit a request, we record the date and time, the form used, your IP address, and the exact consent language presented to you. We may also use third-party lead-verification services (such as Jornaya/LeadiD) that independently document the consent event. We retain these records as proof of consent.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To connect you with one or more licensed insurance agents or Marketing Partners who can provide quotes;
- To contact you about your request by phone, text message (SMS), and email, consistent with the consent you provided;
- To operate, analyze, and improve our website and marketing;
- To maintain records of consent and comply with legal obligations;
- To detect and protect against fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
4. How We Share Your Information — Including Sale of Leads
Our business is lead generation: when you submit a quote request, you direct us to share your information with the Marketing Partner(s) identified in the consent disclosure so they can contact you about insurance products. Marketing Partners typically pay us for these referrals. Under some state privacy laws, this transfer constitutes a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We may also share information with service providers who operate our website, communications, analytics, and lead-verification services on our behalf; in connection with a business transaction; and as required by law.

Revocation is recorded per channel (calls, SMS, email) and is honored across our systems; we also notify Marketing Partners who previously received your information of your request.

Cookies may be single-session cookies (erased after your visit) or persistent cookies (stored until deleted or expired). - Inferences (coverage interests derived from your selections) — Collected: Yes (limited to your stated preferences). Sold/shared: only as part of your quote request.
- We do not collect: Social Security numbers, driver’s license or passport numbers, financial account or payment card numbers, precise geolocation, biometric information, or clinical/medical records.

Sensitive personal information: we do not seek sensitive personal information through our forms. If any information you volunteer is classified as sensitive under your state’s law, we process it only to fulfill your quote request.
Your rights (depending on your state): to know/access the personal information we hold about you; to receive it in a portable format; to correct inaccuracies; to delete; to opt out of sale, sharing, and targeted advertising; to limit use of sensitive personal information; and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights (we will not deny services, charge different prices, impose penalties, or provide a different level of service because you exercised your rights).
8. How to Exercise Your Rights; Timing; Appeals
We may need to verify your identity before processing a request, and we cannot comply if we cannot confirm your identity. You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf, subject to proof of identity and authorization.
We will acknowledge receipt of your request within 10 days and respond within 45 days, unless we notify you that we need additional time (not more than 90 days in total). If we decline your request, we will tell you why, and you may appeal by contacting us through the same methods; we will respond to appeals within 45 days (plus 15 days with notice, where permitted). If you remain concerned after an appeal, you may contact the attorney general of your state of residency.
9. Data Security and Retention
We use commercially reasonable safeguards, including encryption in transit, access controls, and audit logging. We retain lead and consent records for as long as needed for business and legal-compliance purposes. Consent and application-review documentation associated with Affordable Care Act Marketplace activity is retained for at least ten (10) years consistent with CMS requirements; other consent records are retained at least [5] years to support TCPA compliance.
10. Children
Our services are directed to adults and are not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
